League Rules

1. Lineups and Replacements
• Each team has 10 players. 9 + 1 Pitcher
• If one player cannot come the team may get a replacement but this must be approved by the league board and opposing captain.
• If no replacement can be found the team can play with 9 forcing them to be shorthanded.
• If more than 5 players cannot make it to the game the team will be forced to forfeit.


2. General Rules
• Each team will have scheduled home and away games, deciding who bats first.
• 4 Balls and 3 strikes
• 7 inning games
• 3 out innings
• Players MUST RESPECT UMPIRE'S CALLS
• Infield overthrow leads to one extra base
• Outfield overthow leads to two extra bases
• Infield fly rule


3. Playoffs
• 4 Teams make the playoffs seeding is as follows:
• 1 seed plays 4 seed
• 2 seed plays 3 seed
• Bottom two teams are eliminated
• Tie breakers for determining playoff seeding will be based on the following criteria:
1. Head-to-head record
2. Total season run differential
3. Head-to-head run differential
4. Coin flip


4. Code of Conduct
• All players are required to respect each other, their teammates, their opponents, the fans, and the umpires.
• Ejections are at the discretion of the umpire.
• Players should not taunt or mock players on the opposing teams. Communication should be limited to cheering for one’s own team, and mutual respect for all players.
• Cursing other players will not be tolerated.
• Excessive arguments with the umpire, cursing an umpire, or insulting or abusing an umpire, will not be tolerated and may result in suspensions.
• Physical altercations will result in an expulsion of the league.


5. Draft
• Each team will have a capitain going into the draft.
• We will experience an open draft. No players are ‘frozen’ or ‘reserved’ to be on a certain team.
• Draft will be a live draft at someone's home
• Everyone will be drafted to a team


6. Schedule of Games
• Games will be held on Sunday mornings
• First game takes place at approximately 9:00 A.M.
• Second game takes place when the first game ends(approximately 10:30 A.M.)


7. Players Stats
• All players will be able to view their stats on the website
• Stats will be taken by the team captain each game, and will consist of the following:
1. At bats
2. Walks
3. Strikeouts
4. Hits
5. RBI’s
6. Singles
7. Doubles
8. Tripples
9. HR’s
10. Batting Average
11. On Base Percentage (OBP)
12. Slugging (SLG)
13. On base + slugging (OPS)
14. Errors
• Pitchers will also have their own stats for pitching which will consist of the following:
1. Innings Pitches
2. Earned Runs
3. Strikeouts
4. Walks
5. Home Runs given up
6. Hits given up
7. ERA
8. WHIP
9. FIp
10. Batting average against (BAA)
